Basketball Season

Basketball is always a favorite! Basketball season is Hunters favorite time of year. He is obsessed with all things basketball. This was HIS season. He blossomed and was so fun to watch. His speed, skill, focus, aggressiveness. He was living his best life on that court. Makes a momma so proud. He found his passion. He practices hours a day. Dribbling, shooting...hours, everyday. We will have a lot of basketball days ahead with Hunter.

Trent cracked me up. He is just so powerful. Like a bull in a china cabinet. He struggled to make a lay up because he would BANG the ball on the backboard as he was sprinting! We tried to focus on the finesse of the sport. He seems to be driven more by the football field, but ended up making his fair share of baskets! And FaithAnn crushed, of course. Her awareness, body control and focus is amazing. She was on the team, Rainbow Puppies....so funny!
We had so many fans come support us all season. Aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, teachers, friends! Such a blessing. I adore watching my kids grow in sports...the challenges, the growth, the lessons, the love, the dedication. It is all so rewarding. Thankful for another basketball season of amazing memories.

Birthday, Bikes and More

Scott is 37! Happy birthday daddy! We kept it simple with a dinner at Denny's! The kids were so excited, and Scott was equally excited for breakfast for dinner. We also had a fun birthday party for Scott and our good friend, Barrett Schick. Lesley and I rented a sand volleyball court and buckets of beer. A big group of friends and family played volleyball for hours to celebrate the birthday boys. We got matching tanks "Goose and Maverick!" It was so cute, funny and SO FUN! Best birthday to kick off another year of health and adventure!

The boys ride their bikes to school, alone! Only once a week, but they love it. Hunter wears his Gizmo watch, and he text me when they get to school. Then, he text me when they are leaving school. We are inching in some more freedom as they grow like weeds!

Lots of playdates and action these days! FaithAnn has her two best friends over every Wednesday after school, Presley and Riley! They stay for an hour or so, and we sure have fun. Making tie dye shirts, playing school, and just good ole fun! They had the 100th day of school celebration at school. FaithAnn wanted soccer balls glued on her shirt for the parade. So precious. Scott and I also surprised FaithAnn for mystery reader one day. She was beaming when she got me and Scott in her classroom! She is such a gem. Good days, great memories!
