Happy Halloween

Halloween season with kids is always fun! FaithAnn thought of her own costume, and I was obsessed...blue Tooth Fairy! She looked precious and was so proud of her idea. Trent was a zombie, which the costume was kind of scary!! And Hunter, surprisingly, wasn't into the costume thing this year! He settled on putting on a ninja tank and calling himself an American Ninja Warrior!

Trent and FaithAnn had their "Boo Parade" at school. They wear their costumes and hold a book for a parade around the school. I found the perfect books for their costumes and they looked precious! All smiles!

We went to the pumpkin patch a few times, and enjoyed carving the pumpkin. Note to self....wait until the day before Halloween! Yuck! We had to deal with a soggy pumpkin full of bugs! The kids got excited each time we went to the pumpkin patch at church as they looked for the perfect pumpkin!

We did the "Trunk or Treat" at our church. Our neighbor and I decorated our trunk like "Candyland." It was so cute and creative. And Scott and I taught FaithAnn's Sunday school class, and we look forward to doing the boys class too! We have an amazing church that we are so grateful for.

It was raining on actual Halloween night. Bummer! We tried to hurry and go early before it was dark, which wasn't as fun! But, we got a few streets in and buckets filled with candy. So, all in all, it was a success!! Now, we await Thanksgiving with thankful hearts!

Flag Football and Soccer

Flag football is totally my favorite to watch! The boys run so hard and love getting the flags. Trent really blossomed this year, and he has plans of being in the NFL! We kicked off the season by painting signs for the teams to run through! Trent is on the Oilers and Hunter is on the Broncos. Scott was assistant coach for both boys, so there was a lot of activity around here!

Trent was the center (hiker) for offense and a heck of a defense player. He was a little nervous about playing center, but he sure did try his hardest. Most of the time, he did great. But, he got a taste of "game nerves" and making mistakes under pressure. Defense was his thing all day! He got a TON of flags every game. He was very aggressive and even earned a MVP golden chain! He practiced everyday because he has dreams of being in the NFL! I absolutely loved watching him play!

Hunter always loves being with his friends. He isn't the most aggressive by nature, but he sure tries his hardest. He always listened and was eager to get to the field. He improved on throwing and catching the most. He is SO SO fast!! He had one game that blew my mind....he has it in him!! He pulled a ton of flags and was on fire! I was on the sideline of every game yelling and cheering. Hunter would always look at me with a smile and give me a thumbs up. I love that boy!

FaithAnn is playing soccer for the first time. This is her first "organized sport" to play. She is on the Rainbow Unicorns, haha! Her team is full of her friends, and she LOVES it! Talk about aggressive?!! Wow, this girl is always right in the middle and eager to get that ball. Her team is undefeated and such an adorable group of feisty friends. She has scored a ton of goals and is soooo fast! She is focused and ready to conquer that field....and looks precious while crushing it!
