Spring Break Part 1

Six Flags, Fiesta Texas in San Antonio. We literally had the best time!!!! We went with the Comeaux and Aston families. We rented a property that had 3 houses on it with acres for the kids to run. There were goats and a pony. The kids ran from house to house and played outside all day.

The dads golfed La Cantera golf course one day, and the weather was perfection. They had a great time with beautiful views. The moms went out to dinner and wine tasting that night. The next day, we went to Six Flags for the entire day. Over 8 hours! We rode a ton of rides. The lines were not that long and the weather is so perfect. FaithAnn was definitely the bravest of the entire bunch. She had no fear when all the big boys were chickening out. The Joker was a ride that literally everyone chickened out...except FaithAnn, Hunter and me. It is the tallest and fasted ride in the parks history. It legit felt like we were flying. I am glad we did it, and everyone was super impressed that FaithAnn did it with no hesitation!

The dynamic of the group was perfect. It was easy, smooth and FUN! The kids all wore matching shirts so we could see them in neon. It was a long day, memorable and great experience. I was really impressed with Six Flags. Well organized and great rides. It was a total sucess.

The last day, we broke off and did our own family thing. We had lunch on the Riverwalk and went to Ripleys Believe it or Not. The kids loved this so much. It really is filled with such interesting facts. It was a simple spring break. Outdoors with friends. Amazing friends. Great location. Fun memories.

Fredericksburg

I'm being spoiled with girl time. A group of close friends went to Fredericksburg for a couple nights. We had a great time. Hiking Enchanted Rock. Restaurants and shopping. We stayed in an adorable house. We went to a couple vineyards and enjoyed our time away. What a perfect spot for a girls get away. I'm certain there will be many more girl trips here along the years. Good times, good friends.

Welcome Spring

Spring has sprung. A few cold days are lingering, but we are getting doses of amazing spring weather. We have continued with the busy sport days, friends and outside fun. FaithAnn babysat Piper...her best friends little baby sister. We love the Green family, so of course we look forward to our time with Piper. On the other hand, FaithAnn does not like a theme day! Go Texas day was met with no cute outfit and pouty face during her school performance.

Basketball has come to an end. FaithAnn's team won their bracket. It was pretty cool because their final game was played at Memorial High School. It was so fun, and her end of season party was epic!! She got the "All Star" award for scoring over 100 points this season!! Now we move onto lacrosse for the boys. Tournament football for Trent. And Softball for sister. Here we go....Spring time is coming in hot!

Happy Valentines and Happy 2nd Birthday LOU!

Happy Valentines Day!! We had an epic Valentines Day playdate at our house. We made homemade donuts for a fun treat. From scratch. We had fun toppings, sprinkles and icing. Each kid invited a few friends. They road their bikes over here after school. They played, cooked and ate. What a fun way to celebrate Valentines Day.

And Happy 2nd, Birthday Lou! Sweet girl has been the perfect addition to our family. She is simple, easy, funny, goofy, laid back and so cuddly. We love her so much. Our kids work had, play hard, sleep hard. Love this picture of sleepy FaithAnn. They are just so tired, and I love having the ability to let them crash when they need to. I let her skip her practice for her to sleep until her heart content. What precious days.
