Busy Fun

More Fall fun. Scott and I had our 20 year high school reunion. It was simple, but such a fun gathering. My sweet friend, Katie Miller, "styled" me and we had a blast making the most of the moment. As October comes to an end, we are continuing our time with friends! Our kids are blessed with amazing friends. We are grateful for our spontaneous time and memories with each of them.

We have spruced up the garden for winter, and we put the boys to work to help get stuff done. Scott finally got on a deer lease!! Just an hour away, and he is pumped to take the kids any chance he gets. He has bought new guns with scopes on them, deer feeders and more. They have already been a few times and have many times marked ahead on the calendar. The boys are official outdoorsmen!

We snuck in a little bit of early Christmas with the tree in my gym. Why not?! We had a great time decorating it. My clients are all adding personal ornaments to it too. A fun personality tree! We ended October with a parent neighborhood party. I didn't have a costume, so I borrowed Hunters. I enjoyed being Bob Marley!

Fall Festival is a huge deal at our school. The kids had the best time ever. They run wild with their friends, and the parents run circles trying to keep up with them. Hunter sat in the "Pie in the face" station. He wasn't a huge fan, but at least he can say he did it! We also had our high school annual pumpkin patch picture. It is so cool to see this picture grow each year! I know my kids are blessed with amazing friends, but I am too! I am so grateful.

Bentley is still hanging in there. She isn't moving much, but does enjoy one stroll a day. She is still eating and loving the sunshine. Astros are in the World Series, so we have a lot of late nights watching the game. They lost, but we had some great nights cuddled up on the couch watching. Now, onto Thanksgiving....which we have so dang much to be thankful for.

Halloween and More

Happy Halloween. Hunter was Bob Marley and looked adorable. He went trick or treating on the South side of memorial. I dropped him off at his friends house, and they went on their way. Big kids. Last halloween as an elementary student!!

Trent was a scary skin and FaithAnn was a witch. Most of their friends live on our side of Memorial, so they ripped and roared. We went to the neighborhood parade to meet up with everyone. Scott and the dads followed Trent's group. Then, me and some moms followed the girls group.

They all made it home with a bag full of candy. All in all, it was a fun night. I am not the biggest fan of trick or treating. But, I made the most of a very fun night. Fun memories, great pictures and good laughs. Beau and Kate came over to count and sort candy to finish the night!

Pumpkins were a big deal this year. The boys entered the Fall Festival pumpkin contest. They did all the work themselves, which can not be said for all the contestants. lol! But, they had fun and got creative. I love to watch them explore and have confidence in their work. We also carved our pumpkin for the front porch, which Scott takes over that task. Halloween has come and gone. It was a good one.

Welcome FALL

Alright FALL!!! You teased us with a couple days of cooler weather!! We are ready for you! Fall 2021, let's go! We have been to the church pumpkin path and decorated our house. We have Halloween costumes ready to go too. FaithAnn and her friends are witches, which was the most exciting trip to the Halloween store. ha! Trent is a....well, I don't know what it is! But a scary guy in a skin suit! And Hunter is Bob Marley!! More pics to come. But we have officially kicked off another season!

Sweet Mimi had a bad fall. So, Scott took off work and we spent the day in Austin to visit. Scott adores Mimi, and so do we. The day was dedicated to making Mimi happy. We swam at Aunt Connie's, played golf, ate lunch! Such a sweet memorable day.

Aunt Janis came in for the day. To see the house and kids. We haven't seen her since Covid started!! So, it was so nice to catch up. We have spent many days loving on Bentley, sibling time, sports, and school activities. We had a fun school book fair! I always try to encourage more reading!!! We can all improve on that. Cheers to friends, health, sports, school, outside time and FALL!
