Happy 7th Birthday, FaithAnn

My baby is SEVEN!!! How did this happen so fast? She skipped school, and I let her pick what she wanted to do all day. Just me and her, alone! She wanted to eat lunch at a restaurant outside. Then, pick out her birthday cake for her party.  Swim at my brothers house. Then, walk to the gas station to get an ICEE!! Topped off with snuggling until brothers got home from school. It was perfect! Amazing memories. 

She also had a party at school. Her teacher is amazing. Mr. Drew decorated her desk and gave out treats. They sang and celebrated. Then, she spent the night at her friends house. And woke up on her actual birthday...MAY 8th...with donuts. I zoomed to pick her up to get ready for her big day. The boys decorated the house and we were ready for sister to come home. 

She was a happy girl with dangly earrings, choker necklaces and training soccer ball. We played all day then got ready for her epic birthday party!! Sand volleyball at Powder Keg. Yes, its a bar!! A kid friendly bar that she loves! 

Tons of family and friends came and had a blast. We played volleyball, ate pizza, opened gifts and drank away!! The adults and children had an amazing time. Such a laid back ,easy birthday party. One to remember for sure. FaithAnn was surrounded by her adorable friends. They played volleyball and built sand castles. The perfect way to ring in the lucky number SEVEN!!! Happy 7th Birthday, FaithAnn! We love you! 

Softball, Baseball and Lacrosse

Sports, sports, and more sports!!!! We are in the thick of softball, baseball and lacrosse. Trent is playing both baseball and lacrosse. He's never played lacrosse before, but he was made for this sport. He claims to not love baseball, but I don't believe him because he crushes it! It looks like he is having a blast. 

FaithAnn is playing softball , and LOVES it. Most of her friends are playing in the league up, but she has a summer birthday so she is playing in the younger league. She could definitely play up next season. But, she learned a lot and is ready to rumble!

Uncle Greg comes to almost every game, God bless him. He is such a great uncle. Hunter is focusing on his tournament basketball league. He is the best brother, and he loves going to Trent and FaithAnn's games. He actually watches the games. Cheers and roots for his siblings. These are busy days. Active days. Days full of sports fill my heart! 

Family and Fun

Macy is in town!! Macy, Drew and Kinsley! They stayed with us, and we celebrated Macy's birthday while they were here. They were the first people to spend the night in our new home. What perfect guests to get us started. 

We played, ate, took bubble baths, wrapped houses, and laughed! Our house is officially HOME to our entire family. We love the company and memories. We also had our school auction party. It was at the Polo Club. It was so cute, and we had a great time. And got some cute pictures out of it too! 

Lou is loving having a yard. Our back patio is always covered in mud...always! We are going to have to figure out a better plan for that issue. We have loved cooking meals in our amazing kitchen. The kids help, and we are really enjoying our time in the kitchen. I am cooking SO much more. The kitchen is truly the heart and center of our home! 

My brother brings his dog, Winston, over to play with Lou. Both chocolate labs, and they have a blast together. We also had the treat of getting together with all of our high school guy friends. All still in Houston, but still such a treat to all get together. Good days. Good times. Good memories. And a great home to continue on this journey of life! 
 

1st Birthday, Lou and Basketball

 LOU is one!!! Feb 24 is her birthday, but we celebrated a bit late with some of her doggie friends. So cute and funny!! She is goofy, hilarious, smart...yet, acts like she has no brain at times, lol! Such a sweet, gentle natured dog. We adore her and look forward to a long life ahead.

Basketball season came and went fast. They all played in SBMSA, and had a blast. FaithAnn's team won the Championship title in the Gold bracket!! She is a beast, and is on a team of beasts! So, it is very entertaining to watch! 

My sweet Trent doesn't enjoy basketball that much. But, we make him play to ensure he is a well-rounded athlete. He still earns the title of "All Star" on his team, but his heart isn't in this sport. However, he had great friends and coaches on his team. It was a great season. 

Hunter, on the other hand, LOVES basketball. He did fantastic this season. So much so, that he tried out for a tournament basketball team. And he made the team!!! He will continue to play on this team throughout the entire spring season. So cool!! He is aggressive, scrappy, and eager. I pray this sport continues to be in his life!
