Happy Birthday, Scott! House Update

I got home to a busy house and a storage unit of an apartment! Packages are arriving daily. Things for the new house are filling us to the brim. Progress is being made each day at the house. I even got to lay a brick on my own in our outdoor kitchen. It is crunch time. Lots of final decisions and unorganized living at the apartment. 

Lou is so ready for a yard. But, she sure doesn't know that based upon her free range in the apartment. Nothing is off limits. She is on all the furniture and in every room. It will be a quiet the wake up call for her when the rules change. 

And Happy 38th Birthday, Scott! It was low key and simple. We made him a homemade cake and celebrated with dinner and dessert. Scott went to Oklahoma on his annual hunt, so he was happy to get away a bit. We buckled in on the homestretch of getting back home. Slowly starting to pack as we are in the thick of this transition. While its wild and messy...it's temporary and we are grateful!
