2021! This year started off strong and hasn't slowed down. Lots of big moments. Change and excitement. I kicked off the year with a trip tp the Virgin Islands to visit Aunt Macy. I last minute recruited my good friend, Haley. She was on board. And off we went!
We went alone, and it was magical. Just the girls. We had to get tested for covid beforehand. We masked/shielded up and went our way. Macy is very covid conscious, so we wanted to respect her. We remained very sterile and were beyond excited for a trip of a lifetime!
We arrived New Years Eve!! Ready to start 2021 off with a bang! Get rid of 2020 and start fresh. That is what we did. We had to leave at 3am, so needless to say...we were exhausted by the time we landed. But we rallied and had a great New Years. Happy 2021!
We filled our days with beach sitting, boat riding, snorkeling, sleeping in and good meals. Macy was a gracious host and we had a blast! We felt refreshed and renewed. The alone time was needed. Scott held down the fort at home, and I enjoyed my MUCH needed break.
We parasailed to end the trip. It was magical. It was appreciated. We were ready to take on the NEW YEAR! I came home ready to finish off the homestretch of being in the apartment. Ready to buckle in for the ride of 2021!!!
