9 YEARS OLD! July 16 was Trent's birthday...and our 16 year anniversary. We celebrated big with a fun trip to Cinnamon Shores. In Port Aransas. We went with the Smith family and the Comeaux family, which was perfect to celebrate Trent's special day.
Grey and Andrew are some of his best friends, so we had a great crew for a big boy birthday. Hunter loved every second with his best friend, Brady. We do so much with FaithAnn's friends, so we dedicated this trip to the boys.
We spent a long weekend on the beach. We all stayed in the same house so we had constant fun and entertainment. We took walks, played games, enjoyed the pool, cooked, ate and laughed! The boys all slept in a bunk room...stayed up too late and made countless memories.
We stumbled across a fishing tournament, and we saw them catch a shark!! The brought it up on shore and the kids got a good look. We woke up on July 16th, and I had the house decorated for Trent. We had dessert and some gifts. A birthday to remember for sure!
Scott made a really good beach campfire at night. We sat and soaked up the moment. The kids went crabbing and spotlighting. It was the perfect end to a great vacation. It was simple and perfect. Cheers to another year full of adventures with Trent. He is tough as nails with a heart of gold. We adore you, Trent.
We came home to our sweet dogs and some cuddle time with Bentley. She is nearing 15 years old and really losing a lot of strength. But she is still comfortable and happy. She sure loves the extra attention and inside time!!
