Christmas Kick Off

Christmas is here! This is the first Christmas season without dad. It is bittersweet. Dad loved the holidays, Christmas and family gatherings. So, we are going ALL OUT on family gatherings this year. We started off with a trip to the Christmas tree farm. This is my favorite tradition. We got a great one this year!

We decorated the tree, and the kids did most of it on their own. They decorated the house and had a blast. They seemed to have grown up SO much since last Christmas. They have a different level of joy and understanding. We always decorated the tree with my dad, so the kids talked about "Pardner" a lot while decorating.

We have really enjoyed Westside Club. My kids were OBSESSED with the Christmas lazy river. It was amazing. I felt like I was in Disneyworld! The lights, themes, music...all while floating in a huge raft. It really was an amazing experience.

We started early with our first Christmas party! Macy, Drew and Kinsley were in town. So, we had a party while they were here, and it really kicked off the season! It was sweet and simple. Cousin Kinsley is so adorable, and we always love our time with Macy and Drew! Scotts mom (Gigi) and grandmother (Mimi) came too. Along with Scott's dad, brother and uncle. It was great! The perfect way to get Christmas rolling!
