Faith Ann's 6th Birthday!

May 8th! What an interesting birthday! SIX years old! We had to forgo any birthday party. So, I got super creative. We are still in quarantine, so we couldn't gather with friends. I got a sign put up in our yard for a surprise. We rode bikes with Ally to get snowcones! In fact, this was the birthday full of surprises for her! PS: Trent got pooped on by a bird, and he thought it was hilarious. On his face!

Faith Ann woke up to a huge handmade balloon arch on her birthday. Me, Ally and the neighbor girls (Tess and Evie,) stayed up super late to blow up and shape every balloon. Then, setting this up in an arch took forever. But totally worth the surprise. Faith Ann woke up to a fully decorated house and she was over the moon. I got personalized donuts for her too. She thought that was super cool! What a treat!

Then, she went to play at the neighbors house while the sign was being set up. We blindfolded her, and brought her in the street. She opened her eyes to the grand reveal!!! A fun birhtday sign in the yard. With Kate, cousins, Laura and Roy (neighbors), and her sweet teacher (Mrs. Rincon) behind the sign to surprise her. It was so priceless. Such sweet people, and Faith Ann is so loved!

The biggest surprise of all was at the beach. Since Faith Ann couldn't have a party, we told her we were going to spend the day at the beach. Just the family, heading to Galveston. She was very excited about this! Little did she know...we had a bigger surprise up our sleeve!! Her best friends were behind us ready to surprise her on the beach!!!!

We got to the beach and Scott took our kids on a long walk. While they were walking, her friends unloaded the car and we decorated. Ready for the big surprise. FaithAnn got back from the walk, we were hiding behind Scott's truck! We popped up and yelled "SURPRISE!" She saw her best friends, Riley and Presley. She was beyond shocked!! She was speechless with a gitty smile. So amazing.

We played sand volleyball, games, ate cake, snacks and swam for hours!! Such a perfect and spontaneous birthday!!! I am so grateful for her friends, and I am so grateful for their moms (my good friends) that took the day to drive to Galveston for this wonderful day! Happy Birthday FaithAnn. You are loved. You are special. You are blessed. I am blessed to have YOU as my shadow, my right hand, my best friend, the love of my life! Happy Birthday!
