Loads of Christmas Traditions

Christmas means traditions. And we are full of them. Traditions fill the month. From going to lunch with Mr.P, the shoe shine man in Scott's office. We used to see him weekly, now we always look forward to our Christmas visit. He is such a gem. Such a treasure. He has watched our family grow up.

We also go to Brookwood community with friends for lunch. We love the environment, and it is always a good way to kick off the kids Christmas break. Westisde lazy river lights is always a hit!! We went a couple times. We continue to love Westside, what a treasure to have down the street.

Family parties galore!! We go to my cousin, Lacey's farm, with my dads side of the family. It is a day full of outdoor adventure. 4 wheelers, jeeps, games and more. There are so many kids on that side of the family, so it's always a fun day to look forward to.

It was a treat to go to brunch at my cousin, Katie's, house. Chad and Beau's families were there. With Aunt Janis and Uncle Jim. Katie made all the food, so it was a real treat to just show up! FaithAnn made the dessert.

We decorated every inch of our house, and it so homey. We made a couple of Santa visits. Had daily visits from the elf...which is now married with 2 teenagers. The baby elves are now grown up. Oh my! School plays to boot! Trent was not excited one bit about The Nutcracker. But, I snagged a very quick picture before we ripped off his costume!

We started a new tradition of family Christmas date night! Scott took us all to dinner at PF Changs. Then, we drove around River Oaks to look at Christmas decorations. It was a simple and fun night. Plus all our outings with friends. We went axe throwing, which was a blast! We love traditions, and we love Christmas. All in all, we are happy to continue and start new traditions.
