Merry Christmas 2022!

December is filled with parties and fun. Our Christmas Eve and Christmas day are actually laid back and simple. Which I LOVE!! I love that we are able to coordinate all the hustle and bustle before...so we can just sit back and enjoy Christmas Eve and Christmas day!

There was a hard freeze leading up to Christmas, it was like 18 degrees in Houston. So we found some icicles in the neighborhood which was like a little winter wonderland. The night before Christmas Eve, we had a slumber party by the Christmas tree. With the fire on. We vow to make that a tradition. It was so fun. We woke up Christmas Eve, all together around the tree.

We opened a couple Christmas Eve gifts, made smores for Santa, went to church, and I made roast and rice and gravy for just the 5 of us. Perfection. Then, Christmas morning was prime time. The kids were pumped. They got bikes, GABB watch, fishing pole, Airpods and more loot!! They also got some activities to embrace....Macy got them parasailing for when we go to the Virgin Islands this summer. So cool!! And, we are going skiing to Beaver Creek. Best part, we left 2 days after Christmas to ski. They were shocked and so excited.

Scott's dad and brother came over for Christmas lunch. Scott cooked. Simple, easy hang out time. Then his mom came over for dinner. She cooked. What a treat. It was such a glorious Christmas. So very much to be grateful for and to look forward to. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Bring on 2023!
