12 months

 Weight: 22.5 (70th percentile)
Height: 31.5 (96th percentile)
Baby Trent, you are growing too fast...literally, the doctor was shocked when she looked at the growth chart!! Trent was born such a peanut, below 5th percentile, and now he is almost 100th percentile...in just ONE year!! The doctor said that it usually takes such small newborns a few years to be within the "average" size, and Trent blew that statistic out of the water!! She said that he is developing beautifully, in regards to physical and social milestones. He is still not properly crawling because he has mastered his sitting scoot, he gets around super fast!! She just cares that he is showing "movement motivation." She watched his scoot and laughed out loud!! His sitting/one armed scoot is so original- I love it!! Here is what my sweet one year old is up to:
  • 3 bottles of whole milk a day (morning, afternoon nap, and bedtime)
  • Sleeps 7pm-7am
  • Morning nap 9:00-10:30 and afternoon nap 1:00-3:00. He sometimes goes without his morning nap, he may be getting ready for one nap a day!
  • Huge appetite, eats everything but not a big fan of vegetables
  • Pulls up on everything
  • Only has 2 teeth barely coming through his bottom!!
  • Walks around furniture and while holding your hands
  • Size 4 diaper, size 12-18mo clothes
  • Words: mama, dada, baba, and says nana to everything
  • Points and makes the cutest sound "dah," like he's asking "what is that?"
  • Adventurous and curious
  • Dislikes when you hold his hands/arms
  • Gives sweet, quick and random hugs
  • Sits in the magic green chair every morning and gives himself his bottle
  • Reaches up to be held, love this!
  • LOVES music and dances!! Swings his arms, spins in circles and bounces his body!!
  • Very independent and plays great by himself
  • Even tempered
  • Socially meshes great with others, fits right in!
  • Still a momma's boy- big time!!
