4th of July and Misc.

4th of July came fast!! We were home and soaked up the neighborhood fun. Started off the day with a bike parade. FaithAnn shined this day and was living her best life surrounded by friends. The parade ended at the pool. We swam for hours and grilled. Then, we went to some of our best friends, the Astons, for dinner and fireworks. What a FUN night. The dads played and taught the kids beer pong...okay, I played too! lol! Ate delicious food. Then watched fireworks on the bayou. Hunter made an American flag icecream cake all by himself. It was so cute! Happy 4th!

Another adventure with mom!!! I found this random art park in Houston. I loaded up the kids and Jake and went to explore. What an interesting park. We stayed and ate a picnic lunch. There was so much to see and would definitely go back!

FaithAnn got asked to sub in a 10u (kid pitch) softball tournament...that had games 11:00pm-2:00am!!! WHAT?!! She wanted to do it, so I let her experience this crazy adventure. It was unique and different. She was bone tired and slept the entire next day but was worth it. She enjoyed it.

Of course, we have spent loads of time at Westside, and loads of time with the Greens. Extended family basically! We adore them like our own. And Veroncia and kids came in town, which we always love. We went to Sams Fries and Pies, where Ally and Jake both work. The kids all ate and giggled away!! The kids have amazing friends, no doubt. But there is no one they love more than their cousins. And they are blessed by the best cousins. We are beyond grateful for all of our time together.
